Teenaged screenwriter, Reed Nielsen’s, life is nothing like the movies he writes. All of his adventures happen in movies directed by his childhood best friend, Harper McKinley.

But when their latest project fails to qualify for the Riverport City Film Festival, their dreams of film school are jeopardized. Reed has spent his winter break scrambling to overcome the worst writer’s block of his life and keep their ambitious plans on track.

Thankfully, their friend and troublemaker, Danny Chen, has an idea. Get Reed out of his own head and into a night of tumultuous teenage festivities: A party.
