🗺  Building a playbook for PMMs

Hey, I’m Jason Oakley, and I’ve been a product marketer for over 8 years. In that time I’ve built lean product marketing teams at Uberflip, Chili Piper, and Klue — each time starting as a solo PMM.

I know what it’s like trying to juggle multiple projects at once across multiple different teams.

In 2020 I was introduced to Notion and have since been on a mission to design the perfect operating system for my work.

Product Marketing is a rapidly growing profession and a critical function in any company. But most PMMs are still figuring it out as they go without dedicated playbooks or tooling.

I’m building this system to provide PMMs with a blueprint for building successful teams and careers.

What happens after I purchase?

Right after your purchase, you will be redirected to the template's onboarding page where you'll find instructions and the actual template. You will be able to duplicate everything into your own Notion workspace.

Does this template work with Notion’s free plan?

Yes. This template works great on Notion's free plan. There are zero limitations for personal use. You can also use it with a small team since Notion's Personal plan allows you to share pages with 5 guests. If you want to use this template with a larger team, we recommend switching to a Personal Pro or Team plan.

Does this template come with specific documentation?

Yes. This template includes a guide with detailed instructions that will help you get started quickly.

Can I personalize my template?

Yes. Once you duplicate the template into your Notion workspace, you are free to make any changes you like.

Can I share this template?

Purchasing this template gives you permission to use a single instance within one specific company. You cannot share this template outside of your company or duplicate it for other external use cases. A single license can be used by an individual or by a multi-person team.

What is a Notion template?

In Notion, any page can be made publicly available on the internet. You can also turn on a setting that allows others to duplicate it – i.e. add a copy to their own workspace.

When you duplicate the PMM Productivity Hub into your own Notion workspace, you’ll have an exact copy of it that you can then start using, customizing, etc.

How do I access updates?

First, you’ll always have access to the latest version of the Hub template.

I plan to make continuous updates, including new pages, project templates, and resources. For existing users of the Hub, the update process will be a matter of copying new features over to your own instance, which I’ll provide instructions around.
