Almost 40 years ago, I realized self-love was the basis of all our relationships. I have worked since then to develop tools that help heal the unloving ways we look at ourselves. My focus is always to remove all we are not, so as to reveal the truth, beauty, and goodness of who we are.

I believe one of the most important steps in this process is forgiveness. I'm not saying you should condone or even forget the difficult things that have happened to you. You may never forget those things. But understanding and forgiving why things happened the way they did can lead to immense freedom and healing.

It can take time and practice to go beyond the anger, pain, and limiting stories we tell ourselves, but it doesn't have to be difficult. In this Forgiveness Meditation, I'll gently guide you through a series of simple steps that you can take at your own pace. The intention of this practice is to free yourself from the pain of the past while making more room for peace, ease, and love in your life.

I hope this meditation serves you as much as it has me over the years.
