Why did I create this?

When I studied the method “Building a second Brain”, by Tiago Forte - I started to have an accurate view of my projects and I felt as if my IQ had increased by 20 points.

Of course, that didn't happen, but I felt that my creativity started to flow freely and my thinking became faster, more complex, connecting ideas and generating insights.

This was a game changer for me, because I was finally able to understand that I needed to have all of my notes, projects, and areas of life organized in one place. That's how Flux OS was born.

Your digital second brain at your fingertips

Flux OS incorporates the fundamentals of the GTD, PARA, and Atomic Habits methods. The system is designed to build positive habits, increase productivity, minimize stress, and align all of the different areas of your life.

The PARA organization method is divided into four pillars:

  1. Projects – multiple tasks linked to one goal
  2. Areas – spheres of activity with a pattern to be maintained
  3. Resources – topics or themes of ongoing interest
  4. Archive – inactive or no longer relevant items

If you're not familiar with the methodologies used here, don't worry! Flux OS is designed to be intuitive and easy to use, even if you don't master them.

Projects: Simplify work and get more done

With system automations, Flux OS turns each project into a hub where you can manage tasks, notes, resources, events and goals related to each project.

No more switching between a project management app and a note and calendar app. It's all here.

Managing projects is no easy task. But it's even more difficult if we don't have the help of a system or if the work is spread out across several tools. It's easy to lose track of the details and hard to stay on top of what really matters. As a result, things end up falling behind. Flux OS ensures that you organize all your projects and make sure you can meet deadlines.

Enough of reinventing the wheel

Streamline routine workflows with task templates as needed to reuse and customize as often as you like. Add custom fields, instructions, checklists, to any task in Flux OS to create clear, error-free processes and spend more time on what matters.

Areas: Organize every aspect of your life

An Area is for grouping all of your projects and to-dos that support an ongoing ambition. There’s an area for every hat you wear. Stay in touch with the people you care about by creating a Relationships area. Remember to keep an eye on your savings for the future with a Money area. Encourage yourself to care for your body and mind by maintaining a Health area. Work toward new professional heights with a Career area. When you only want to see related projects and to-dos, your areas are a great place to narrow your focus.

If you keep your areas well-stocked, they’re also a way to nurture and grow aspects of your life that are important to you. Take a good, hard look at all of them every now and then. Sometimes, all it takes are a few new to-dos to keep the fire of your long-term goal burning.

Resources: More clarity, focus and personal growth.

Our digital lives are exponentially expanding. Your career and even your hobbies require you to consume and understand more information than ever before.

Personal Knowledge Management has become an essential survival skill for everyone navigating the modern world. You can't afford to overload your biological brain with trivial details that don't give you the life you want.

Organize links, articles, podcasts, videos and other resources in one place. Want to save something interesting that you've found? Put it in the resource library, and you'll never get lost among other apps again.

Using the magic of the Notion database, Areas can contain Projects, Resources, and Goals creating useful dashboards for every major area of your life. You can also create Projects and Resources outside of your Areas.

Archives: Keep everything tidy with one click

A second brain only works if you trust it and can keep the clutter and overload to a minimum.

Flux OS comes with a smart Archive that anything can be sent to. If something is not relevant to you, archive it – it will be out of your reach, but it will be safe in the Archive database if you ever need it again.

Create trackable goals connected to your projects, tasks and areas of your life.

Create a clear vision of how you want your life to be in the next few years. Define Objectives and Key Results for the next three months. Add priorities, intentions and weekly goals. Plan your days, record your mood, habits and reflect on what was most important in the day. Track your weekly progress and rate any outstanding points. Review your quarter, celebrate your wins, list your key lessons. Start all over again.

Notes: each blank page is full of potential

Embracing the art of writing and keeping records of your thoughts, dreams or ideas is more important than ever in a world where increased screen time and the trappings of social media are threatening our ability to be creative and think independently. Add notes linked to activities, so your insights are always at your fingertips.

Use Flux OS to improve 1% each day

Tracking habits is a great way to get closer to your goals and encourage positive changes in your life. Record routines such as reading, physical activities or meditations, all linked to your Daily Plan. The satisfaction of ticking everything off at the end of the day comes as an extra bonus.

Data from your Daily Plan accumulates as you feed into the system, giving you insights into your productivity, habits, and progress toward bigger goals. The patterns and insights that come from daily planning are some of the strongest aspects of Flux OS, providing the data you need to make decisions about what to prioritize.

Smart planning: accomplish more each day

In a hectic, fast-paced world, taking a few minutes a day to organize your schedule, plan and prioritize your tasks is another small habit – it doesn’t require more than a few minutes every morning and evening – that can transform the trajectory of your day and make you feel more in control of your time.

Pro tip: Make sure you're not just jotting down work-related tasks. Instead, consider your personal habits as well (anything from going to the gym, journaling, or meditating) to achieve a healthy work-life balance.

Tasks: focus on what matters right now

A quick look at this list is all you need to catch up on your schedule – and if your plans change, rescheduling your tasks is simple: drag and drop.

Break tasks down into simple steps, add deadlines and set reminders to your daily to-do list to keep yourself on track.

See the current status of a job at a glance, identify next steps, and quickly take action to stay on top of your tasks.

Review your priorities through the tried-and-true Priority Matrix that is linked to your tasks.

Weekly review: stay in control

Keep in constant touch with your projects to ensure they still match your goals.

In addition to planning, Flux Os has a weekly review that helps you reflect and reorganize yourself whenever you think it's necessary, to live according to your goals.

The main purpose of the weekly review is to help you get your most important tasks done for the week, so its structure is not just another neatly arranged to-do list. Review your projects and actions and ensure that everything is on track.

Five Minute Journal

This is a habit that can really transform your life if you stick with it. A practice like Gratitude Journaling with Five Minute Journal is simple but beneficial: as the name suggests, you don't need to spend more than five minutes every morning and night, but it can have a shifting impact on your mindset, happiness, and world view.

Everything organized and safe

In Flux OS all your databases are organized in one place. Avoid the confusion of searching databases that are nested across multiple pages. The system organizes all primary databases by theme, allowing for one-click access.

And much more...

FAQ

Is the payment really secure?

Yes, 100%. All transactions go through Gumroad, which uses secure encryption and does not store your payment data .

How do I get started with Flux OS

After payment approval, you will receive automatic access data in the email registered at the time of purchase. That's why it's important that you register a valid email address. You will receive a link via email to access Flux OS and make a copy of the template on your Notion desktop. If you're new to Notion, I've created a getting started guide to help you get started.

Does Flux OS work on the free version of Notion?

Yup. After making the purchase, you will receive a link to duplicate or template the Flux OS in your Notion workspace. You don't need to be on Notion's Personal Pro plan to use it.

What is a Notion template?

In Notion, any page can be made publicly available on the internet. It can also be added for others to work with, i.e. a copy of your own work. When you duplicate Flux OS in your Notion workspace, you will have an exact copy of it, with all the pages and databases, and you can start using it right away.

Why Notion as a system?

Notion is available on all platforms, with flexible layouts and a variety of components for databases, calendars and more. With filter, sort, and search functions, Notion outperforms other apps like Evernote, Asana, and Trello.

Will I get free updates?

Sure! However, as this is a Notion template, you are literally duplicating it in your own workspace. This means that updates will not be automatically applied to your new version of Flux OS. For that reason, each update includes a detailed video update guide that will show you exactly how to make changes like I made the template.

Can I make changes in Flux OS?

Sure! Once you duplicate the O Flux OS template to your workspace, it becomes yours. From there, you can make any adjustments you want. (Just please don't share it with others as it's a role model and part of my livelihood!) However, I create detailed upgrade guides for all changes, but they can only show you how to make those changes from a common starting point.

How long do I have access to Flux OS?

Once you duplicate it on your Notion workspace, and it's yours, so you'll have lifetime access.

Is there a refund policy?

Yes, if you feel that Flux OS has not improved your life, write to me and I will give you a full refund within the first 7 days. I worked hard to make Flux OS the best productivity/second brain system for Notion. Also best to respond to support requests in a timely manner, so please get in touch if you are having any issues!

However, you are still not satisfied after requesting support, we will refund your money within 7 days of purchase. You can simply reply to the confirmation email received after purchase to request one.

If I want, can I duplicate Flux OS sections in my personal Notion workspace?

Yup. Feel free to do whatever you want with Flux OS components in your personal workspace. Only venomous don't resell parts of it or cry blogs/articles using content found in Flux OS.

Can I duplicate this database to share with my team/friends?

This is a personal license for individual use, so currently not.
