Starting January 1, 2025, Gumroad will handle ALL your tax obligations. Yes, you read that right – we'll manage sales tax collection and remittance worldwide, so you can focus on what you do best: creating.

What This Means for You:

- No more tax headaches - we handle everything

- Simplified global selling - we manage international tax compliance

- More time for creating - less time dealing with paperwork

Key Updates to Our Service:

1. New Fee Structure

- Direct sales (from your website/social): 10% + 50¢ plus standard credit card fees

- Discovery sales (via Gumroad.com): Simple 30% flat fee (includes all processing fees)

2. Improved Payment Features

- Instant payouts now available

- Customizable payout thresholds

- Flexible payout scheduling

- Option to pause payouts when needed

3. Updated Refund Policies

- Standard 30-day refund window for all products

- New option to set "no refunds" policy for your products

- Coming soon: automated refund handling (optional)

New Support Experience

We're upgrading our support system to serve you better! Starting next month, we're moving away from support@gumroad.com to a new in-app live chat system. Once you've made $100 on Gumroad, you'll see a chat widget in the bottom right corner of your dashboard. This means faster, more personalized support right where you need it. You can always ask for a human if you need that!
