We're excited to announce a new feature that allows creators to increase the price of a membership for existing customers.

There's a new toggle at the very bottom of every membership tier, that enables itself when the price is changed. You can turn it on to apply price changes to existing subscribers.

How it Works

When a creator increases the price of a membership, all existing customers will receive a notification email with 7 days' notice before the change takes effect. This gives customers plenty of time to decide if they want to continue with their subscription at the new price point.

Why it Matters

Previously, when a creator wanted to raise the price of a membership for existing customers, they had to cancel their membership and have them subscribe again. This was a manual process that was not user-friendly or creator-friendly. With this new feature, creators can easily update the price of their membership plans without losing existing subscribers.

We understand that the need for price increases may arise due to things like a recession, and we want to make it as easy as possible for creators to manage their membership plans and continue to grow their business.

Get Started

To get started with this new feature, simply go to your membership's edit page, update the price, and select "Apply price changes to existing customers." From there, you can set the effective date, customize your message, and send notifications to your existing customers.
