Earlier this year, we launched a way to collaborate with another Gumroad creator. Currently, Gumroad fees are charged to the primary creator. This meant that a $10 sale split 50/50 would lead to just $3.41 to the primary creator, and $5 to the collaborating creator.

Starting on 8/6, we are changing this logic so that the original creator will receive the same amount as the collaborating creator. In the above case, this means $4.21 each!

We think this is a lot more intuitive, and expect Collabs to become more popular as a result–beyond the $829,827.68 we've already helped creators earn since launching. Hopefully you agree!
