Kirk Smith has been a standup comedian at clubs all over Texas and the New York metropolitan areas for over 10 years. He graduated from Bethany University with a B.A. in Business and then later received his M.B.A from Golden Gate University. Born in Watsonville, CA, he was raised by Christian missionary parents in Ecuador, El Salvador and Costa Rica. On top of his appearances nation-wide as a touring standup comedian, he has travelled extensively internationally living in Romania where he worked for a project helping street kids in Bucharest, the UK and Singapore on work assignment, and all over the US. Smith has also worked for the Liceo Cristiano de Guayaquil for the past five years as their director of development and spends a lot of time in Latin America which he considers “home.” Married to a half-Swedish, half-Sri Lankan woman he has spent time in both those countries, and together they raise their autistic son JJ and their daughter Alexandra. Smith is also an avid weekend warrior and enjoys basketball, boxing and riding motorcycles.
