Sittin' On Top Of The World - Guitar Lessons , Doc Watson Style

Doc Watson was a formidable finger picker, as well as being one of the foremost flat pickers in the Country style. He actually plays Sittin' On Top Of The World with a plectrum, with many exciting riffs and complicated timings thrown in for good benefit.

Not being a flat picker, I wanted to create an arrangement for Travis style pickers that used many of Doc's riffs and retained that great appeal.

This arrangement used dropped D and the capo is fitted on the 2nd fret, purely to suit my vocal range.
