Editshots is a set of video clips to edit on iPad, iPhone, Mac or PC. It's a hands-on way for learners to explore the language of film, without using a camera, before they start making their own movies. There are 55 separate shots with different shot sizes, camera positions, lenses and movements. Each clip has a caption (e.g. Extreme Long Shot, Tracking Shot).
The package includes a 36-page, iPad-friendly PDF that takes you step by step through building the movie, covering shot size and selection, camera position and movement, shot-reverse shot, the 180 degree rule and more.
iPad/iPhone users will need to download the resource to a Mac or PC first, then copy it to your iOS device.
This is the multi-user education version:
One licence allows schools and other education institutions to install the resources on all devices at a single education site.
It allows an individual trainer to install the resource on the devices they use on their own training sessions.
Want to try it out before buying it for your institution? Please mail firstname.lastname@example.org to request an evaluation copy.
If you're outside the EU, please buy the US version instead (priced in dollars, no VAT): https://gum.co/qdAIy
