In this 50 minute 'making of' I will briefly run through the workflow I used to create this asset from zero to in-engine(UE4) fully textured and animated, in 3 days.
It's not an in-depth step-by-step, but rather an overview of the process. However, in the download, I will be supplying all the assets:
3dsMax file of the fully rigged character ready to animate
High & low poly(fully UV'd to use in your own baking tests)
All the breakdown images
The finished texture maps
The skeletal mesh .fbx file
All the animation cycle .fbx files
The character is ready to go, in-engine, and can be used in your own games/levels/experimentation. Or even as an animation practice rig.
