Humanity is on the verge of extinction. Oxygen has become tainted and resources left are limited. After destroying civilization on an aquatic dimension, a race known as Lunites use their natural ability to camouflage as their prey to seek refuge on earth.

Rune is a Lunite in hiding, all he wants is to have a life for him and his people where they don't have to be afraid of death around every corner. Destiny has other plans and as he struggles between his two lives, he finds himself falling for a soldier dedicated to killing his kind.
