Detectives Gordon Reed and John Matthews think they've heard everything as the city enters a sudden state of spontaneous confessions. Suddenly, everybody want to be inside a jail cell, even the most hardened criminals. But the claims made by self-proclaimed vigilante Frank Kemp are so incredible that the detectives force him to provide proof. Evidence comes in the form of stacked nude corpses that have a disturbing habit of changing locations when no one is looking. Then the dead began walking, taking other people to be converted by an enigmatic bioterrorist with a terrifying agenda to convert the world's entire population into his eternal mind-linked puppets...
