Finally, you can now access all of your e-mails, tasks, calendars, and most importantly, BBM™, from your desktop! . . You'll have instant access to all of your PIM applications on your desktop. Best of all, it's all saved on your BlackBerry® phone, so there's no need to worry about your data being lost! . . Simply open the app on your BlackBerry® PlayBook™, and follow the instructions on the screen. Open the URL it displays in a web browser on any machine connected to your network, and you'll be able to quickly respond to incoming e-mails and BBMs, without stopping what you're already doing. . . Note: This is a BlackBerry® PlayBook™ app that requires the use of a BlackBerry® phone connected via BlackBerry® Bridge. If you do not have all of these components, this app will not work for you. . . This is the first released version of Desktop Bridge. Please read the release notes entirely, as well as known issues. . . If you have problems installing or using the app, please contact us prior to leaving a review. Also note that we cannot guarantee that this will work in your wireless network. If your network administrator has blocked access to the port used by Desktop Bridge, you will need to speak with them to resolve the issue. (Working on this.) . - Sending of files, especially greater than 100 KB in size, works sporadically. (Working on this.) . - Internet Explorer is not supported (Cannot fix.) . - Need to accept untrusted SSL connection. (Attempting to find a solution. If you are uncomfortable doing this, you need to wait for the next version of the app.) . - Audible notifications on the PlayBook do not occur consistently. (Working on this.)
