THE MOVIE

Jerry (Daniel Rock) jumps on an offer to house sit for a buddy in Vegas for the summer, hoping to take a much-needed break from college life. His peace is interrupted when eleven-year-old Steven (Steven Mihranian) crashes his bike in front of Jerry's house and decides he’s found his new best friend. Weaving an intricate web of lies and working his impish charm, Steven plays matchmaker, setting Jerry up with a local girl named Rachel (Katie Frey). Jerry finds himself drawn to Rachel as she shows him the different sides of Vegas, but as summer winds to an end, he is torn between responsibility and desire.

"Jerry" is a heartfelt movie with a foul mouth filmed entirely in Las Vegas, Nevada with a cast of unknown actors. It is the first feature film from DreamStreet Limited.

THE ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK

The “Jerry” Soundtrack is comprised of original score conceived of by the DreamStreet Limited filmmaking team and composed by Brandon Ballard. The tone of the music evolves from light and playful to a romantic feel created by sounds from the piano and guitar. The soundtrack contains 13 tracks of music (MP3) from the movie and the album artwork (JPG).

THE ORIGINAL SHOOTING SCRIPT (PDF)

The “Jerry” feature length original shooting script is the 2012 draft written by Melody Rock, Max Fox & Alexander Rock in 2011-2012. In addition to the script, you’ll get an introduction from all 3 co-writers as well as alternate scenes written for a location that was lost in the middle of production. 

FIRST FEATURE THE MAKING OF JERRY eBOOK (PDF)

This original eBook written by filmmaker and co-founder of DreamStreet Limited Alexander Rock, details the story of how “Jerry” came to be, from the initial formation of the DreamStreet Limited team to the completion of “Jerry.” In the narrative, Rock takes readers through the 5-year journey that was writing, producing and completing DreamStreet’s first feature length film on a $15,000 budget. First Feature chronicles the highs and lows of making a feature length film and building a team from the writing, pre-producing, and shooting, to the editing, sound designing and composing of the original score. 

JERRY BEHIND THE SCENES

DreamStreet Limited filmmaker and co-founder Max Fox directs and edits this documentary that combines behind the scenes footage, test shoots, auditions, cast/crew interviews, and movie clips to tell the tale that was making “Jerry.” Learn about how the filmmakers pulled off an ambitious project on a low budget; the writing process, the rehearsal process, working with a cast of non-actors, borrowing dangerous locations, shooting with a DSLR camera, editing in Final Cut Pro X, and designing sound and music in Logic. This documentary is an up close look at the unique way the 6 filmmaker team collaborated to make “Jerry” from start to finish.
