When recruiters, both corporate and third party recruiters, are trying to find candidates, they are searching LinkedIn to find people. As you know, when you apply for a position, you have to submit a resume.
Unfortunately, too many people's profiles and resumes are found wanting? Don't believe me? Check the people who have been looking at your profile and not sending connection requests or inMails to you (Go to the top toolbar and click Profile==>Who's Viewed Your Profile). Count the number of resumes you've submitted that get no response.
