Family Portraits - Issue Three

Family Portraits tells stories of ten New Zealanders, and explores the awesomeness of their own individual sexual orientations and/ or gender identities.

This issue begins with a comic about my first experience doing a haka. The next piece honours the queer and trans rulebreakers in our lives. ‘The Escape’ is an homage to Roller Derby, and the brilliant Sissy Asskick.

‘My Name is’ tells the story of Rewi, and his journey from child to man.

This issue also explores my coming out as trans and genderfabulous.
