Tubey Tunes [Drumkit]

This drum kit consists of sounds which received a double tube sound in their recording-phase. It's a collection of self-created sounds and sampled sounds from a drum machine. The recording chain is a SPL Goldmike preamp and a DBX 376 channel strip. Both devices have tubes. All sounds in this kit are very present and warm because of that.

EQs and saturation plugins helped achieving the ideal result out of the well-recorded sounds. This drumkit contains sounds in different categories like kicks, snares, claps, percussions and many more. Even self-recorded beatbox sounds are included in this kit. The sound of the kit is influenced by Hip-Hop and R&B.

I intentionally haven't picked a finished and super-complicated beat to demo the kit to you. I've just used some sounds straight out of the drumkit for you to see how the sounds really are.

The kit is space saving with its 25 MB (because the sounds are isolated and the useless silence before and after every sample is trimmed!).
