This M4L sequencer for Ableton is based around 4 versatile LFOs that generate a fixed sequence of pitch, velocity and note length data. Combining and randomizing the LFOs can quickly generate a wide variety of complex sequences.
Each LFO has 4 waveshapes, phase, frequency and depth control. Each LFO can each be assigned to pitch, velocity or note length, and can be deactivated if not required.
To the right of the LFOs are 3 dials that control the overall amount of variation to pitch, velocity and note length.
Under the piano roll each step can be optional deactivated.
To the right there is a clock value, a swing setting, a sequence length of up to 64 steps, and an initial step value. The sequence can be optionally transposed by incoming note values.
Lastly there are randomise buttons on each LFO and a randomise all button.
If you don't like chromatic scales you can add a scale device for a more melodic sequence.
