Visualize progress towards goals with these templates. Use a target line when every bar/column has the same goal. Use overlapping bars when every bar/column has a different goal.

This Excel file contains two templates: target lines and overlapping bars. There are instructions for adjustment the target line. You'll have two versions of your finished graph. One's ready for a Word document (size 11 font and 6.5 inches wide) and one's ready for a slidedeck (size 18 font and 8 inches wide).
