So, you’ve relocated.
You’re away from family and friends. Away from what you considered home. You’re in a new and different environment. Unfamiliar with the language. Unfamiliar with the customs. It’s Culture Shock 101.
Then it hits. You feel homesick. There’s that gnawing feeling of loss. It’s a new life but you feel sad. Alone. Isolated. Where once there were chatter and laughter, now there are only tears…and a million and one things to adjust to.

If so, I get you. I suffered from severe homesickness or as some call it, “relocation depression.” Thankfully, through the months and years, I learned to deal with my homesickness. And yes, I GOT MY HAPPY BACK! ☺
