I've been developing software for artists, musicians and all sorts of creative people for over 25 years. I'm currently pursuing my PhD in Cognitive Science part time.

My first music software development was working with Joel Chadabe and David Zicarelli (now of Cycling '74) on M and over the years I've had the good fortune and honor of having my work rub elbows with a wide array of artists from Dada Life, Diplo, Jon Hopkins, Fourtet, Monolake, and Dan Deacon, to Peter Gabriel, Larry Fast, and Elliot Sharp.

Ableton Live M4L multi-window tools, w/ New Features!

Ableton Live M4L multi-window tools, w/ New Features!

Now with unparalleled device/effect strips and more new features!  You can buy individually if you like for $6+ each, but you can get all 3 types (session, device and now 2 mix tools, for a total 4 devices) for $12+!

A set of 4 new devices for MaxForLive that work in both Ableton Live 8 & the upcoming 9. Along with single screen workflow improvements like improvise into an arrangement, they add the much requested multi-monitor/multi-window support to both 8 and 9! Note, Max for Live is REQUIRED! They are also a great way to learn about the more advanced ways to use the Live Object Model in Max for Live.

Although the recommended price/donation for the package of four is $19, I've made the base price for all 4 just $12 total. That's $3 per device ! Most Live Packs will cost you $29 or a lot more. I hope you'll appreciate all the effort I've put into these and pay what you can!

These devices can be dragged onto any track (they're audio devices), but they really are for controlling Live rather than processing audio. Each allows you to break out of the single Ableton window and enhances your workflow. Check out my youtube channel for demos on how I use them http://www.youtube.com/learnmax
