Quarterly canvas - review and plan

Turn your dreams and goals in to a clear immediate path ahead.

Make sure you include both your head and your heart in the process.

A quarter - 90 days - is the perfect time frame for planning

That’s why wildly successful coaches like Dan Sullivan and Michael Hyatt advocates quarterly reviews. A quarter is just the right size to make a meaningful dent in achieving a long-term goal. It's also small enough to be able to plan without overwhelm.

Who is this for?

This is for you if you tried long term planning and either

  • can’t find an easy way to turn the long term goals into action
  • felt so overwhelmed by the planning process that you ended up without any goals at all. Now you’re winging it but feel like you lack direction and don’t get anything accomplished

You don’t have to spend hours journaling and in deep introspection.

Feel free if you want to. It can generate some great insights. But it’s not necessary in order to get a clear picture of what you're going to do next.

What you get

You get a workbook that guides you through the process, and PDF templates for going through my own quarterly review process. The steps include consulting your heart and intuition as well as your "standard" analytical thinking.

By the end, you will have a one-page canvas which lays out the things you intend to work on and accomplish during the next quarter.

The result is clarity about where you're going together with a visual reminder of the result from the review process.

Why buy from me?

I'm a productivity nerd veteran, and I've done a quarterly review for over a decade now. It has helped me juggle two parallel freelance careers in separate fields, be chairman of the board of a daycare co-op, produce my own stage performance and raise two toddlers.

But don't just take my word for it. This is what two people have to say about the difference a quarterly review made for them:

"I started doing quarterly reviews only last year and I can say with certainty that it’s been a game-changer for me. These reviews are when I break my long-term goals into actionable bits. 5 years is a long time. Even one year is a long time.

A quarter is just the right size to make a meaningful dent in achieving a long-term goal. And a quarterly review gives me a chance to identify if I actually made the dent or not. Thanks to my quarterly reviews, my ‘long term’ goals don’t remain in the evasive future." – RanjanaTN

For me its the sweet spot between too “rigid” and too “dreamy”. Before, I mostly set “daily goals” or dreamed (not planned) far ahead into the future. With framing my goals in a quarterly manner, it feels tangible and practical, but still gives enough room to dream. – Kevin Hubmann

Both of these had a structured quarterly review process they followed.

You can have that too.
