Drill 3/4 on the up with Audra
This practice session focuses on developing and drilling sharp 3/4 timing hips on the up using stationary and moving drills, alone and with arm paths. These drills are NOT style specific, but purely based in technique so are suitable for belly dancers of all styles.
3/4 hips alone is a frequently used hip movement, and this practice session will also prepare you for Undulations Practice: Volume 2 - Arabic Shimmy.
The 3/4 hip movement is taught in Stage 1: Basic Black in The Dark Side Dance Program and used individually throughout all stages of The Dark Side Program, as well as the weekly classes at the studio.
Duration: 28 minutes
Beginner dancers: You'll find it challenging, but do-able (you can always stay stationary!)
Intermediate dancers: Good workout, it'll be moderately paced to fast for you
Advanced dancers: Good solid drill session, not a brain teaser, but it's constant moderately paced drilling.
