These videos are developed for people 40 to 80 years of age and they are a continuation of the beginner level videos offered by Staying Sharp.Dave Wieber PT, ATC, MTC developed these exercise videos with safety in mind. The videos incorporate low impact postural strengthening, flexibility, and balance exercises. The focus of the intermediate and advanced workouts is to improve flexibility and strength for improved mobility and activity level after the age of 40. Motion is lotion for our joints, muscles and our nervous system. We need to keep moving as we age. Dave recommends that the first 10 to 20 minutes of your workout incorporate some type of aerobic exercise. Our bodies start producing endorphin's after 10 minutes of aerobic exercise and this is a powerful chemical that can not only improve our outlook on life but also reduce pain.
