Spark & Echo–In the Clocktower (Music Only)

In the Clocktower is a video album, featuring ten new songs from the Spark & Echo Band. This album was performed and recorded live, videos and audio, at the home of Spark & Echo: the Clocktower lofts in the South Bronx. See Jonathon and Emily Roberts in their natural habitat with piano, bassoon, accordion, and newborn child Walter.

Songs include an accordion setting of Miriam and Moses' song of thanks after crossing the Red Sea, a bassoon-driven country tune retelling a trip to Nashville as an epic sea battle, a heartbreaking response to the "Test for the Unfaithful Wife" from the book of Numbers, a juxtaposition of a promise in John with a Grieg Nocturne, a musical expression of King David's regret regarding the acts of his sons, and more.

This album, filmed in the Fall of 2013, was a collaboration with filmmaker Michael Markham of KiteMonkey Productions (MichaelMarkhamOnline.com) and audio engineer J Scott Hinkley of Flat World Productions (FlatWorldPro.com).
