Sadly, we can’t control the waves of change. What we can control, is our actions.

Actions can guide physical movement & mental resilience… or, they can sink us into the couch with worry… and keep us stress-eating in the pantry.

I can only speak for myself, but I know my loved ones are relying on me to keep healthy & poised in tough times.

Corny as this might sound, I also know I’m “the best me when I’m moving & sweating. Maybe you can relate. Or maybe you just need something, anything to:

  1. You'll see a link to "Schedule your session" to select a suitable 30-minute time. You can also provide details about your goals, needs or any additional information to customize your session.
  2. Then, you will receive an email with details containing the date & time of your scheduled session, plus instructions for how to properly set up our practice together. 
  3. When the time arrives: all you need to do is be online and ready to practice.

So what happens inside a 30-minute session?:

  • Warm-Up Assessment: I’ll run you through a quick 10-minute body assessment to gauge flexibility, mobility & body awareness
  • Custom-Tailored Practice: from there, I’ll work you through an efficient movement session designed to maximize time & results specific to you and your goals (no 2 sessions are ever exactly alike)
  • Focused Spontaneity: Depending on your energy that day, the feedback you’re giving me, and how you respond to cues — we will flow together through fun movement patterns, guided by safe alignment principles. 
  • Build-A-Library: You have the option to have our sessions recorded so you can come back and practice to it again and again. This way you can focus all your attention on being "immersed" in your practice without the need to take notes. We can even discuss ways I can help you build a custom training library with cues, exercises and workouts that are uniquely your own!

Now you might be wondering who I am… 

Allow me a brief introduction:

“Hi, I’m Mark Gonzales Pura, 18-year yoga teacher, movement specialist & peak performance coach...”

My love for yoga and movement is rooted in a 25-year obsession with both the craft and the teaching practice. Influenced by gymnastics, circus arts, competitive sports, rock climbing, capoeira, parkour, and numerous styles of dance — my students love the harmonious blend of different movement styles they get when they work with me.

Since Zoom consultations are new to many people - let me answer a few common questions...

  1. What if I’m a beginner, is this going to be too advanced? 

Absolutely not, I adapt these private one-on-one sessions to suit any skill level, from raw beginner to super advanced. I actually LOVE working with newbies because they tend to have a more open mind. 

  1. My camera isn’t very good, is that ok? 

Yes, the video doesn’t need to be super high quality for me to guide your practice. Any smartphone works just fine, too. 

  1. Can I buy this for a friend or loved one as a gift? 

Sure - these tailored sessions make a unique and memorable gift to help someone you care about kickstart or elevate their practice.

  1. What if I don’t have any equipment or yoga mat?

I actually started my movement practice 25 years ago on a bath towel! Feel free to practice on carpet or use a bath towel as padding. Fitness equipment isn't required either, unless you want to learn how to maximize your home gym with the equipment you have.
