Raise Up! B1 Book

The second Raise Up! book contains 8 lessons with an inclusive view of English Language Learning, all written for B1 (pre-intermediate) level by a diverse team of writers, editors and illustrators. Four of the lessons have been written by Raise Up! co-founder Ilá Coimbra. These look at indigenous traditions, global English, body types, mental and physical wellbeing, and travel for blind people. We also, for the first time, have four guest writers: Hugh Dellar on working class culture, Heloisa Duarte on elderly people, travel and social media, Carlos Gontow on diverse families, and Sergio Durand on attitudes to immigrants.

All the proceeds go to Las Patronas, a non-profit based in Amatlán de los Reyes, Mexico who have cooked and packed lunch boxes to give migrants something to eat or drink since 1995.
