Imagine the Future - a Windrush 60 extravaganza

Ten years before the UK Government instituted Windrush Day, this major Windrush 60 Celebration took place on Sunday 22 June 2008, at Birmingham Town Hall, organised by the Development & Missions Network and Christian Aid.

Watch, as first and second-generation Windrushians communicate their experiences through song, poetry and reflections, hosted by Khembe Clarke. 

A keynote address by Dr R David Muir, which is as inspiring as it is educational, makes this an all-age film. Definitely one for the ages.
