Free InDesign Storyboard Template Scope 2.39:1 Courier New 10pt DIN A4 landscape numbered

This template is a free paginated storyboard layout for Adobe InDesign for story artists. InDesign Markup IDML format, compatible with all InDesign versions since CS4 up to InDesign 2024. The frame ratio is 2.39:1, a prevalent widescreen format for feature films (sometimes also referred to as 2.40 or Scope).

This 18 pages storyboard template is designed for DIN A4 horizontal (landscape) format ready to use for print and screen presentations. This template lets you write your screenplay notes alongside your pictures; add and edit your copy in the Text layer, and place your frames in the Images layer in InDesign. The text is Courier 10pt, the traditional screenplay font. Once you drop your boards in the black Images layer, you can toggle on and off the rule of thirds guides in the top locked layer to help you (re)frame your compositions.

Fill in the title page, replace the logo and credentials. To edit the footer at once, use the A-White for white background or the A-Black master page for black background. The template comes with a few vector arrows to indicate camera moves.
