May Alembic Export/Import

This script allows you to export and import alembic files with shaders.

How to use: just place the contents of the archive in the folder C:\Users\User\Documents\maya\20## and that's it!

When you start Maya, you will see a new shelf with this script. Just click on it. Two buttons will appear. The first button will export the selected mesh to alembic. This will create a folder namedOfScene_abcExport with abc cache and shaders next to the current scene. The second button imports alembic into the scene. To do this, just select the nameOfScene_abcExport folder.
