How to Paint with Natural Colour

A Munsell Painting Tutorial.

In this set of videos, I'll take you step by step through three colour exercises that will help you:

• mix any colour accurately
  
• model form with colour and make it appear three dimensional
  
• Apply those skills to painting in the real world
  

If you struggle with colour, and want to paint with truer, more natural - and more beautiful - colour, this tutorial series is for you.

I go through the basic set up, and demonstrate each colour exercise in detail.

In order to get the most from this, you'll need a copy of the Munsell Student Colour set. You can usually get fairly cheap copies of earlier editions on Amazon. As long as they include the colour chips, they'll be fine.

Some of the video files are quite large. I decided quality was more important than file size. If you have a slow Internet connection, streaming will probably be a better option.

You can get all eight of the videos - over two hours of detailed, in depth demonstration - for whatever price you choose. You can download them for free if you like, I know that not all artists have spare money to spend on things like this. If that's you, I wouldn't want you to go without this information.

If you can afford it though, I'd really appreciate a donation. I'd suggest something between $20 and $30, but the amount is entirely up to you - whatever you can afford.
