  • How to build a feature film project profitably from the ground up, including tools and resources that make it easy.

  • How you can, under the right conditions, make movies about real people, important historical events, and other high-value elements legally and why it's sometimes very financially smart to do so.

  • How to shoot high-value projects on Zoom, and in the real world, and why that makes your productions pretty unstoppable.

  • How to make your project look and sound much bigger and better by using cost-effective and vast stock footage and music libraries.

  • How Copyright Laws and Work-for-Hire Rules protect you, your work, and the people you hire to work on your project. When producers create their projects, they bundle up rights they've collected from other people and businesses, and they turn that into package of content they legally own.  That package is what they sell and license to audiences and distributors.

Note from the Creator

I've been supporting new feature film and documentary creators since 2015, and I've been producing and publishing across media for 30 years. I know you need a clear, concise, practical, in-depth "How to Produce" workshop so you can actually get to work. This set of resources provides that.

You must have a good grounding in the mechanics of easy/profitable production in order to design projects you can product. You must get a good solid introduction to the legal stuff because it protects you and the people you work with, and because knowing this information actually helps you produce and sell more profitable/higher-value work while avoiding expensive risks.

If you like what you learn, I hope you'll decide to take more workshops from me that cover topics like casting, distribution, merchandising, screenwriting, etc. The more you learn, the more you can do profitably.  -- Nancy Fulton
