About Eating: An Online Program With Evidence of Increased Food Resource Management Skills

Participants will be able to:
1. Identify and describe the multi-stage formative activities associated with producing an online health and nutrition program targeting low-income persons.
2. Examine criteria to select appropriate online program evaluation measures
3. Explain the dynamics of comparison group selection in impact assessment.
4. Reflect on the applicability of evidence-based nutrition education to their current and planned practice.
Barbara Lohse is a Professor of Health Sciences and Head of the Wegmans School of Health and Nutrition in the College of Health Sciences and Technology at the Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, NY. She is also Director of Nutrition Education Engineering and Designs (NEEDs) Center at RIT. Barbara is a member of the Board of Directors for the Society for Nutrition Education and Behavior and formerly a member of the SNEB Journal Committee and JNEB Associate Editor.
