I'm so excited to be sharing this very special practice with you! This slow flow yoga class is in honor of the Autumn equinox and the changing of the seasons. This is a fluid and circular practice to reflect on the cyclical nature of the seasons.
The Fall Equinox falls around September 20-22nd every year and it's my favorite season! Energetically, Fall is the time where we start to turn in. Spring and Summer are a time for us to be outgoing, social and energetic whereas Fall and Winter are a time for us to turn inward, relax, regenerate and reflect.
This Autumn Equinox is your opportunity to bring balance back into our lives. This practice will combine balance poses (to find balance in our lives), forward folds (to let go of frustration and disappointments) and hip openers (to open ourselves to possibilities).
Craft some special time for yourself to do this practice. This is a beautiful time of ritual and if you enjoy honoring the different times of the year, you may enjoy my Lunar Yoga program for women which honors the moon cycles.
