This is a set of 9 multi instruments using different pairs of 18 individual Flintpope soundscapes each with 10 user-friendly dials to change parameters that radically affect each sound.
(Takes a breath)
Because you can layer any combination you like of these 18 sounds in MANIPULATOR there are 324 variations available before any further dial-twiddling needs to occur.
(Takes another breath)
Because you can also replace any sounds in MANIPULATOR with your own samples and apply 10 parameter changes to each you can possibly never run out of variations.

Note that third -party software (such as this) runs in demo-mode on the free Kontakt Player.
Owners of the full version have no such restriction.
If you don't wish to buy this but care to download free items elsewhere onsite perhaps consider supporting Flintpope for as little as $1 per month if you wish at
All samples in the folder are Flintpope originals, mostly made on Reaktor Polyplex by forgetting it is supposed to be a drum machine. They are all chosen for immense length and for having surprising evolving properties. All sounds are copyright-free so use them however you wish.
The idea is to click on any of the MULTI.nkm files in the download folder which will load Kontakt 5 with a pair of Manipulator instruments. Have a listen to what’s there, play with the dials a while then click on the left or right arrow next to the title of the Multi Rack near the top of the Kontakt window (e.g. BODNANMULTI). This allows you to scroll through the 9 preset Multis in the folder.
Next (if you haven’t already) click the similar arrows by the individual instrument (.nki) names (e.g. BODNAN) and scroll through the 18 .nki instruments to create your own combinations.
NOTE. All individual .nki instruments are saved with the stereo pan at center. You will need to re-tweak them in the multis which have all been saved with top instrument panned slightly left and lower one panned slightly right. It’s up to you of course.
And finally (if you haven’t already) click the spanner icon to open up a .nki instrument then click on MAPPING EDITOR. Right click on the sample zone (beige/yellow rectangle) and click CUT ZONE.
Next, drag and drop your own sample(s) in and spread its/their zone(s) across the keyboard in the zone window, making sure you centre it on the note it was sampled at (often middle C).
Close window and proceed to mutate your own sounds!
NOTE ON CONTROLS.
Most dials are obvious except
LFO1CO = Amount LFO 1 rate affects the filter cut-off
LFO2CO = Same as above except for LFO 2
C/R ON = Convolution Reverb on/off. Not a tweakable parameter yet.
START = Sample startpoint.
NOTE ON PARAMETERS
All parameters can be further tweaked inside Kontakt by clicking the spanner icon and getting stuck in. The script is hidden as this cost money but most of everything else is changeable. Relevant effects in Manipulator are
GROUP INSERT FX 3x2 as this is where the Filter Cutoff and Resonance are generated.
INSTRUMENT SEND FX for Delay, Convolution Reverb and Reverb dials. Note that Chorus, Flanger and Phaser aren’t used in Manipulator (no dials) but go ahead and use them “blind”.
MODULATION MULTI (LFO) varies on each preset. This affects LFO 1 to Filter Cutoff
Ditto MODULATION MULTI (single LFO) at bottom of window also varies on each preset and affects LFO 2 to Filter Cutoff. Both these settings produce a remarkable effect on the sound so tweak cautiously. Lower frequencies produce less “synthy” sounds, higher ones turn everything into Space Invaders…
NOTE ON FOLDER CONTENTS
Don’t delete HORSEMAN.nkr or Resources (folder) as it will make Donald Trump press The Red Button.
A huge thanks to rigid-audio.com and their Kontakt GUI Maker that helped me design this.
