Easy To Use Notes For The Registered Nurse

When I first started nursing I found that I enjoyed working with the patients, but hated writing notes. It overwhelmed me. I constantly had to ask others "How do I chart that accurately?" and when the charts were audited I would ask how to improve on my note taking.

I found that most of the experienced nurses had phrases that they used routinely. So I started to write down suggestions that were given to me in a notebook and I realized that I wished I had that notebook before I started. It would have made work less stressful, and I could have focused more of my time on patient care and less on paperwork.
