HONK! A Tale of Praise

This is the PRE Sale of my children’s fictional story book addressing our need for affirmation in the arts and the God- given solution for our hearts. 32 pages of delightful illustrations for your 6-10 year olds. This faith based children's story has been awarded second place in the Canadian contest, "God Uses Ink." 

In this story, the young peacocks of Eden are invited to sing for the first time for God. Before the little peacock, Fuzzby, encounters his Creator, his praise is a hollow "honk" which in his comparisons to songbirds around him does not measure up. Once he meets God face to face, all insecurities fade. He honks loudly from his heart as his brilliant peacock tail fans out for the first time to reflect the glory of the God he has now met. This is a playful study of what true praise looks like and from where it is generated.
