This series 3 part series was taped in 2 locations during the celebration of Malcolm X's birthday 2017. The first presentation discussed how I taught the life and times of Malcolm X in my college classes for 13 years. It outlines the methodology of introducing Malcolm X to students who either never heard of him or know very little about him. The second presentation was taped in Brooklyn a few days later where I focused on a quote from, "The Autobiography of Malcolm X." Chapter 16, titled "Out," Page 306, Malcolm X says, "...by the year 2000, schoolchildren will be taught the true color of men (and women) of antiquity." During this conversation, we discussed what children would be taught about Malcolm X. I specifically focused on the "Moors," and how to teach about the Africans who created Western Civilization. If anyone was a true Moor, it was Malcolm X. If he had been successful in bringing the United States before the United Nations, he would have automatically created a sovereign state for Africans in America. This 3 part DVD set on "Malcolm X: The Man and His Times," is not just about Malcolm X, but it asks the question, "Where is the SPIRIT that was in MALCOLM X, in YOU. I think that once you see these DVDs, you'll find that Spirit.
