The Drip '63 - Tube-Driven Spring Reverb Library for Acustica Audio's Nebula

The Drip '63 is a Nebula library made by dynamically sampling a reissue of a mono, tube-driven, standalone, spring reverb unit that is very well-known for its 'drippy' sound. The hardware that The Drip '63 is based on is especially popular with the Surf music crowd.

Each of the 52 programs (13 hardware presets per sample rate) was built from a unique audio capture of the hardware. Each sample rate includes its own custom 'Setup', tweaked by me in an effort to make the programs match the awesomeness of the hardware.

Tubes, springs, more tubes, and lots of character.

I've designed the Drip '63 to look like a sort of old-school preset player Frankensteined onto a reverb unit. Talk about dreamware...

Check! Springs? Check! Big buttons from a vintage 8-track...? Check!

  • There are 13 presets per sample rate. This includes a very cool azzimov skin that makes this thing fun to use!
