Random Poetry Manuscript: Collected Poems 2020

 is a collection of poems written by Jowell Tan & published online in various literary journals in 2020, collated and augmented with artworks to present a full reading experience.

Taking its inspiration from another term with the same acronym — the Revolutions Per Minute of a vinyl record — forgoes the simple ordering of the poems in chronological order, instead grouping them into five groups of three poems each, mimicking the standard 5 tracks of a musical mini-album. Each group of poems share a common theme and is preceded by a piece of art from a local Singaporean creative.

Through these poems, Jowell attempts to explore life in the 21st century, missing those who have left us, and yearning for something more than our physical selves. He wrote them for himself, but hopes that you will find something in them for yourself as well.
