Sinewave Lab proudly presents the Glassophone instrument, powered by Native Instruments Kontakt Player.
This melodic percussive instrument may share some characteristics with some other instruments of this category. but it clearly has a spirit of its own, with one very unique articulation that can’t be easily found anywhere else. This was achieved by recording 9 wine glasses with and without water. When hit really hard, the glasses will produce a vibrato caused by the water moving inside the glass.
Use the controls of the instrument interface and you will be able to modify the sound in ways that will give you lots of versatility. You will be able to use this is various contexts, from Tim Burtonesque themes from pad-like ambiences.
