This is part 1 of a longer audio. I share two emails I received from sober penpals - one with a good outcome, one with a not (yet) good outcome. I also tell the story about my first cousin which perhaps you've heard me talk about before.

RachelBDoesntDrinkHereAnymore: "Agree. I'm feeling good and solid but it's a good reminder not to let down my guard."
franny2233: "I have had that thought before during a while sober: 'you're probably fine now, it's all better, you could just have one drink - rejoin society, be a normal person!'. Then 2 months later I'm drinking more than i was before."
