Sober Podcast 272 - A relapse or a slip?

What’s the difference between a relapse and a slip? There’s lots of language about this. Everyone thinks about this differently, of course, so in this audio I share my ideas. You may not agree with me, and I’m OK with that :)

The phrase we often here is “choose to use” … but I know that when you’re in the grips of a compulsion to drink, it doesn’t feel like a choice.

So I talk about language, fragility, and when wolfie says “my father died and so now I CAN’T be sober.”
