What are the similarities between learning to paint and being sober? (Loosen your grip, experiment, add layers.) And what sorts of things can you put IN your life when you're not drinking, and your evenings open up, and you're not being so damn HARD on yourself? (Abstract painting, experimental tomato gardening, things that require mental flexibility.)
And what if you are good enough already, and you painted right over that fucking negative voice in your head? :)
In this audio, I talk about all these things — painting, creativity, internal critic, and tomatoes. I know it doesn't seem like they should go to together, but it works ...
Question: After you listen to this audio, hit reply and tell me what creative thing YOU have (or could have) in your life once sober.
