I was asked to record a personalized audio for KLC about our tendency to push-push, even when we don’t want to, even when we don’t need to, even though ...
here’s her email:
“I know you’ve talked about the ‘push push’ stuff in various places. Why is it, do you think, that despite knowing this is what we do, that it is still so difficult, almost impossible sometimes, to NOT keep on pushing? An example: I have 3 labradors who are all very active working dogs, and who need a lot of exercise and training. But I start with walking them, in the dark, with a lantern, every morning. I don’t have to do this, I work at home, I could go when it’s light at 7.30 but no, I’ve got to PUNISH myself a bit by heading out at 6.30. I could also feed myself before I go but, no got to go out starving so they get walked properly and early for the first time. It’s just madness but I still do it!”
Once you listen to reply, let me know if you have an experience with this, too.
hugs, belle xo
