I am excited to release my first en plein~air instructional video - Painting from Nature. Painting and drawing from direct observation is one of the most important things an artist can do for his or her own growth. I often paint from life to have a deeper understanding of how and why things work. In this video you will see my approach as to how I start a painting from life, watching what to select and what to omit to make a strong design.
