The second concert featured in Vaibhavam 2018 is one at Tyaga Brahma Gana Sabha, or popularly referred to as Vani Mahal, the venue of the concert. This concert holds a special place in our memories for the seamless way in which all musicians on stage came together. When combined with an inspiring audience which listens with quietude and immersion, it is simply a joy to sing! Highlights in the concert include Kambhoji- our favorite Ghana Raga- with the lively Maa Janaki with its enlivening Madhyamakala tempo, the relatively rare Samodam Chintayami in Suddha Dhanyasi leading to the RTP in an unusual choice of Kumudakriya. With the poignant Ganamurthe leading the concert on, it seemed that Krishna's grace permeated the ambience with a divinity that oozes from this beautiful composition.

Our co-artistes HN Bhaskar, Manoj Siva and Anirudh Athreya have played with such intuitive understanding to create a soundscape of complete harmony.
