This lesson teaches you to make a beaded frame for a pendant. Though it is shown on a teardrop shaped bead, it can easily be adapted to work with almost any shape of bead, including crystal points. Also, if you prefer a frame without beads, you can leave them out of the weave for a simpler look. You could even use a different style of weave for the frame.
With a little bit of imagination, and few changes here and there, you can create a limitless number of pieces using the techniques in this tutorial.
*1 Teardrop shaped bead - Must be top side drilled (other shapes can be used for this lesson with a few adaptations)
*20 gauge Round Soft Wire (amount depends on size of bead)
*28 gauge Round Soft Wire (amount depends on size of bead)
*2mm beads (amount depends on size of focal bead)
*Chain nose pliers
*Round nose pliers
*Flat nose pliers
