Transformation

The concept of transformation is straightforward: correcting your photometry for the bandpass differences between your filter/camera combination and that of a standard system. Learning the details of how you perform transformation and determine the transformation coefficients is where most people stumble. This lecture covers those basics, as well as having George Silvis, the author of TransformApplier (TA), show how to use this excellent program to transform your data before submitting it to the AAVSO or using in your own research.
